The Porsche 911 ‘Carrera 3.0’ has a very special place in the history of the Porsche 911, as it brought together elements from two of Porsche’s most legendary cars.
It represented the latest incarnation of the Porsche Carrera, originally introduced to the 911 series as the classic 2.7 litre RS in late 1972, and the Carrera 3's 2993cc engine used the same die-cast aluminium crank-case as its faster cousin, the newly introduced Porsche 930 or ’911 Turbo’.

This Porsche Carrera 3.0 is matching numbers as the corresponding Porsche birth certificate will confirm. The car was delivered new in Germany in 1976 but then almost immediately exported to the United States by mister W. Green. The car was brought back to Europe in 2016. This beautiful Carrera 3.0 is completely undamaged and is in a remarkably original condition.

This Porsche has a very striking color code 258 'Speedway green', which could be ordered only in the years 1976 and 1977 on 911 models. The bright green body color combined with its Beige/Shetland leather interior gives this car a very striking appearance. You can be certain that all eyes are focused on you when you come driving along.

The interior is in an exceptional original condition. The car has been professionally repainted in the original Speedway green colour. This work has been done to a high standard. also the technics of this car were not neglected. The engine, suspension, electrics and brakes have been completely checked and overhauled were necessary.
