We welcome this extremely well maintained CL 500 C215 to our showroom. Sold new here in Sweden and timelessly specified in brilliant silver exterior, it feels like this huge coupe brings back memories of a bygone era. A time when petrol consumption and environmental thinking were not exactly 'top-of-mind'.

The C215 brings the obvious continuation in a line of large Mercedes coupés that stretched pretty much all the way back to the brand's origins but would unfortunately be one of the last. As a replacement for the 90s SEC models, the 215 model offered a markedly rounder design language that is more in line with the rest of the cars that Mercedes offered at the time. But also acted as the flagship model together with the sister car S-Class to move the brand forward.

As I said, this car is timelessly specified in Brilliant Silver Metallic, which together with 18" five-spoke rims gives a sober and anonymous exterior but which, thanks to its size, gives a not-so-discreet undertone of style and luxury. The design highlight is, of course, the exterior coupe silhouette which undeniably remains one of the most beautiful even today. The interior is, as it should be in a Mercedes, dressed in black leather with elements of a dark wood. Born in 2001, there is a lack of things like CarPlay, but CL and S- class was at the technological forefront when the cars were launched and remains today as a wonderful time marker.

Sparingly used with a condition that reflects this.
