Info:
Damaged vehicles are any vehicles with unrepaired significant damage, e.g. due to a road traffic accident, fire damage, hail damage, water damage, engine damage or damage to the gearbox. This does not include: 1.) normal wear and tear; 2.) minor damage; 3.) a vehicle which has previously had an accident but has since been repaired. Also, a vehicle is only deemed to be accident-free if it has never suffered any significant damage in an accident. This means anything more serious than minor damage (e.g. scratched paintwork). Even if the damage has been properly repaired, the vehicle is no longer accident-free. Finally, 'Roadworthy' means that the vehicle is technically capable of being driven (no engine damage or the like). This does not refer to aspects of traffic safety or other suitability of the vehicle.

Araç Açıklaması
Description: "The nicest 220SE i've ever seen" Thats the statment from Swedish historical automotive inspector upon inspecting this lovley 220. And it would be wierd if it was anything else as this might be the nicest 220 still in existance.
In the early 50's Mercedes was proberbly not in the best of states and the company knew that it needed to start over and reinvent the company in order to survive. This ment a new series of cars. The first car in the new lineup came to be known as "the Adenauer", a large car that was to rival the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. The SL variants were to be the sporty cars and then this... "the Ponton" series of cars that were the s-class of the 50's.
The Ponton were built in both two and four door configuartion and with diffrent engine options. This beeing the top one. The 220SE Convertible. A large convertible with room for four and a 2,2L straight six engine. The exterior of this car is a symphoni in 50's luxury in a two tone silver suit. The lower part in dark silver and the upper in a lighter shade with a beautiful chrome trimline in between. All exterior details are in chrome, the bumpers, grille and wheels all on display in polished chrome. As it should be.
The large door opens up to a black leather interior with dark wood inlays in the doors and dashboard. Details in chrome, just like the outside. Every detail and part of this interior gives of a mecanical, handbuild and tactile feel. The large ivory steeringwheel gives a light contrast and just behind, a 4 speed manual gearbox. The dashboard is simple yet luxurious with horizontal dails and in the middle a beautiful small clock. it all feels like art.
The car has gone through a complete restaration and has been inspected and graded by Classic Data. A German company that specializes in inspecting classic cars. A certificate from Classic Data says alot about the car as they go through every detail and then sum it all up in a document with a grade of how well the car has been built. the best score you can get is a 1. Thats for an unrestored, perfect untouched car that looks to just been driven of the assembley line. This example got a 1- with the only mark against it beening that it has been restored.
This car is perfect. It makes you want to put on a large hat hand gracfully coast through country lanes with the wind playing with your scarf.
