I was deeply impressed by Pietsch Autohaus in Melle near Osnabruck. Here are two reasons why. (1) Trustworthiness. The whole place simply breathes German grundlichkeit. An illustration.. I had an eye on a Skoda Octavia. As I usually do, I had the car checked out by a mobile mechanic from Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. He remarked to me that even the rollers in the panorama roof had been greased. Such a thorough eye for detail he had rarely ever come across in Dutch dealerships. (2) Friendly service. Yakup was my sales rep. He really went the extra mile for me. When I came to pick up the car today, he was there at 9.00 AM, even though he was officially planned to start that day at 1 PM. He accompanied me to city hall to help me with the transfer of ownership and the licence plates for export to Holland.
