For many years, the Porsche 911 in the 996 generation has been a bit reviled, as it is the only 911 generation that does not have round headlights. However, interest is now turning, not least due to the significant increase in value of the other generations, as well as the fact that you just get a lot of 911 for your money in a 996 and it ends up being exactly as legendary as the others, because it is the first generation that is water-cooled.
The offered cars are a unique opportunity to acquire a 100% original and unspoiled example of the Porsche 911 in generation 996. This car is from the first model year (1998) and is the coveted Carrera 2 version with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The car was delivered from Porsche in Nuremberg, but has since lived almost its entire life in Sweden, where it is looked after and cared for with a full and complete service history from an authorized Porsche workshop!
As I said, it appears 100% original with the right rims and still with period orange flashes.
Note that this is a special order car with the very beautiful Nephrite Green full-leather interior (incl. dashboard), which contrasts well with the classic exterior color Arctic Silver Metallic. In addition, the car is equipped with sports seats from the factory and there is retrofitted original Porsche Classic navigation.
Many 996s have lived a miserable life with poor maintenance – and they will never be worth money!
