Every 10 years, leading supercar brand Ferrari surprises the world with an ultra-modern, limited-edition supercar that not only breaks records but also strengthens the manufacturer’s identity and desirability. Their latest masterpiece, a testament to Ferrari’s expertise, is called the LaFerrari. Introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the “definitive” Ferrari, the LaFerrari showcased all the knowledge of the engineers and designers in Maranello. Internally referred to as the F150, it was developed based on findings from testing the FXX development prototype. It is Ferrari’s first modern in-house design and also its first hybrid street car: its naturally aspirated V12, paired with a HY-KERS system, develops an astounding 963 hp and a combined torque of 900 Nm. The powertrain impresses not only with its performance or its high-revving character but also, and especially, with the sound it produces.

It is undoubtedly one of the best-sounding modern cars and a true achievement in terms of emotions and sensations. Only 500 LaFerrari coupes were built, an extremely low production number in today’s world of “mass” produced super and hypercars. It is undoubtedly an absolute masterpiece from Maranello and an extremely desirable addition to any Ferrari collection. Ferrari received a great demand from its customers for an open version of the LaFerrari coupe. Thus, Ferrari engineers soon began to devise a way to satisfy high-end Ferrari customers, and by the end of LaFerrari production in 2016, the timing was perfect for a special 70th-anniversary model in the tradition of the F40 and F50. This design assignment marked the birth of the LaFerrari Aperta, and the only qualification to order one of these rare specimens was to already own a standard LaFerrari, keeping the Apertas limited to a proven handful of loyal purists.

The Aperta’s body was redesigned without a roof section, which could be covered with a canvas soft top or an optional carbon hardtop. Numerous improvements to the Aperta included re-mapped engine management electronics for a smoother power curve, a reinforced chassis for improved rigidity, differently placed radiators to reduce warm air towards the cabin, a longer air dam to improve downforce on the nose, and corresponding redesigned wheel arches. By the time the LaFerrari Aperta was officially unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, all 200 examples had already been pre-sold, ensuring a rarity level that most previous Ferrari hypercars never quite achieved. Additionally, nine pre-production examples were built, most of which served the manufacturer during celebratory events honoring the 70th anniversary. Besides one final extra car built for a charity auction held by RM Sotheby’s, total production amounted to 210 examples, and the results of this short production run were unanimously superb. Ferrari could once again claim to have achieved the impossible: making a perfect product even better.

Our LaFerrari Aperta:
This breathtaking LaFerrari Aperta with an extremely low mileage is considered one of the last built examples. In addition to the standard equipment, including electromagnetic dampers, speed-sensitive steering, F1 Trac traction control, and the carbon and alcantara steering wheel with the signature manettino driving mode control, this Aperta features options such as the important 'dreamlines,' all available carbon options, 4-point racing harnesses, and 'Nero' finished wheels. The optional €50,000 carbon roof was also added to the order list and is thus present on this car! Of course, it is an original car that is accident-free, with original paint, and maintained only by Ferrari!

All these facts together make this LaFerrari Aperta an absolute collector's item and a good investment for the future.
