BMW F10 M5 '30 Jahre M5'

Is there anything better than celebrating a birthday? Perhaps. But it's fun anyway. But it's always a highlight. Of course, even birthdays are even more fun. An opinion shared by a bunch of happy Germans at BMW's M department as if to celebrate 30 years of the world's best car. The M5. And it's certainly something we should all celebrate, the automotive world's equivalent of the Swiss Army knife apparently manufactured by Oppenheimer.

'30 Jahre Edition' - produced in just 300 units and all in this shade of Frozen Dark Silver and to the untrained eye looked very similar to an M5 Competition. But the trained eye picks up the small details such as the small emblem on the front fender, but otherwise BMW has managed to keep this M5 extremely toned down. A perfect way to pay tribute to an M5. Open the door and you're greeted by a sill that boasts '30 Jahre M5' followed by an interior that's a symphony of alcantara and leather woven together with bright stitching. The touches of alcantara make this version of the F10 M5 completely unique. 30th anniversary badges sewn in with the same bright stitching into each backrest and an emblem on the trim panel are other give-aways. Sitting in the driver's seat here makes you just want to bet on being in Zurich tomorrow morning to check the short-term rate.

Sound from Bang&Olufsen and all imaginable driver aids make every trip a pure joy. 600hp also helps.
