Volkswagen T1 Westfalia SO42

Very nice German built 1966 Westfalia SO42 camper with poptop and walkthrough!! Partial original paint car with mild patina. Other panels/area's have been repainted to match the original paint. Has had a few dents/damages in the past. Some minor metalwork has been done recently (inner rocker/outer rocker), so no rustrot on this beauty!! Straight panels and seems, correct closing doors.

Lots of parts were recently renewed or rebuild:
New side panels, new roof panels, new flooring, new upholstery in camper area, new front seat upholstery, new curtains, several new window and door seals, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new brake shoes, new wheel cilinders, completely rebuild kingpin/link pin spindles, rebuild "big nut" gearbox including the reduction boxes, rebuild ignition, rebuild carburator, newer alternator, etc, etc. Equipped with a 1600cc dual port engine, which runs strong and smooth.

This Westy is equipped with a 12V electrical system, everything is fully functional like it should. Complete interior in very nice condition, even the rare icebox unit is there! Functional Whale waterpump and vintage enamel washing-up bowl. Lots of original details: Original clear glass Hella USA lights in front, VW/SWF rear lights. NOS Leviton socket on the left rear. All 3 original SO42 table legs, original interior lights, 5 louvered HEHR windows, 1 key fits all, etc, etc.

This bus still has the Californian Title and documents. Currently located in The Netherlands. All EU taxes have been paid, IM-A form available. I can get a Dutch registration if required. I can assist in world wide shipping.
