Mercedes-Benz 300 CE

It's easy to get nostalgic when you're behind the wheel of this wonderful 300 CE. The mind wanders to the late 80's and one easily dreams away to the outer lane of the autobahn somewhere between Köln and Frankfurt where this train would have felt at home. The W124 chassis was launched towards the mid-80s and acted as Mercedes mid-large luxury cars. The most common was of course the 4-door variant in sedan form, but in 1987 they also launched the C124, which was of course a coupe variant that otherwise shared much of its architecture with its sibling.

This example is one of the few cars that remain in fantastic condition. Something that becomes easy to understand when the car has only driven a little over 11,600 miles. Exterior in a champagne colored silver color which is typical for Mercedes in two tones where the lower parts of the car are in a lighter color. The car sits firmly on 5-spoke rims and the entire exterior gives an impression of class and performance. The interior is of course covered in black leather and paired here with wooden decor that runs over the doors and center console.
