An iconic and original S2000!
Honda has a special place in the hearts of many car enthusiasts because over the years they have both managed to develop very efficient engines (V-Tec) while at the same time maintaining the typical Japanese assembly quality and durability.
Likewise, they have produced many fun cars over the years - and this S-2000 is certainly one of them.
This car was registered in Sept. 1999, internally as model year 2000, and therefore one of the first cars produced with frame no. #01435 out of approx. 37,000 cars in this AP1 model series
The car appears very well maintained both inside and out, was originally delivered to Sweden from new and driven there until 2018 when a Danish collector bought the car and it was in his private collection until now.
As a real sports car, the car is low to get into, but once you have settled into the delicious red leather seats that provide good support, everything else is within reach, the 6-speed manual gear stick is just as you would expect and behind the leather steering wheel are the controls to respectively radio (there is of course still the original radio in the car) as well as the air conditioning system.
If the hood needs to be folded down, this is done easily by pressing the button and 20 seconds later the car is transformed into an open roadster.
This first model, called AP1, has become a bit of a collector's item worldwide, and especially original cars with a good service history like this, because they are usually not allowed to sit for long at dealers, so how long do you dare to wait?
