Ford Mustang Convertible 2+2 Convertible

This Mustang Convertible has a paint job, stance, and style that immediately catches the eye when it is displayed. 1966 marked the end of the first-generation Ford Mustang. This Mustang convertible was recently imported to Sweden from the USA. According to the chassis plate, it left the factory in the color "Nightmist Blue Poly" and was equipped with standard "Blue Crincle Vinyl" upholstery. Today, it still has Crincle Vinyl, but with a "Rosette" pattern in the central parts of the seats. The dark blue paint now has an elegant metallic and pearl effect, and the classic muscle car stripes over the hood and trunk are subtly painted in a slightly lighter shade of the same blue tone. The upholstery on both the front and rear seats is new, and the carpets and other panels are in excellent condition. The exterior chrome details have been either replaced or re-chromed in recent years. The soft top is also relatively new and in near-perfect condition. The car lacks power steering and power brakes, but the body is clean and dry. The rear fenders seem to have been replaced long ago, and some repairs are visible underneath. We have not noticed any leaks from the engine or gearbox. The stated mileage is probably not accurate and likely differs from the actual mileage. Improvement potential: The car has a unique charm and is in good enough condition to be driven and enjoyed as it is. We recommend keeping the car on the road with regular maintenance. Over time, one could address some small details to further enhance the car's overall impression. The windshield is somewhat worn and has a scratch on the driver's side, so replacing it would definitely improve the car's condition. We would also suggest improving the chrome on the window cranks, gear console, and other interior details. Some simple polishing and fixing of missing buttons, etc., could quickly lift the overall quality feel of the car.
