This Ferrari California is an extraordinary example, featuring one of the rarest and most beautifully curated specifications possibly ever ordered. Finished in Azzurro California over a Beige (4208) leather interior, the car was specially configured with multiple EXTRACAMPIONARIO details making it truly one of a kind. The factory-ordered elements in Grigio Nurburgring Opaco—including the side air intakes / mirrors / A-pillars and door handles—add a striking contrast to the bodywork. Further special order details include a full Chrome finish on the front grille and bonnet air intakes, as well as chromed metal exhaust tailpipe surrounds, which is replacing the standard black plastic trim.
This California was delivered new by Ferrari dealer Autoropa in Sweden on May 29 back in 2009, and has been exclusively serviced by the same Ferrari dealership ever since. The car has an unbroken service history with complete documentation, which is a rarity among first-generation Ferrari Californias. In 2015, it was sold again through Autoropa to a highly meticulous Stockholm-based enthusiast, who owned and carefully maintained the car for the past 10 years. During this period it was treated more as a grand tourer than a sports car, ensuring minimal wear and exceptional preservation.
Mechanically, this car is in perfect condition. The factory ceramic brakes retain 94% of their original material, a true and honest testament to careful usage. It recently passed a Ferrari Approved test with zero remarks confirming its impeccable condition. The highly desirable MAGNERIDE DUAL MODE SUSPENSION is fitted, offering enhanced ride comfort and most importantly handling precision.
To protect the exterior the car has had PPF applied to the front and all exposed areas since new—something exceptionally rare for a 2009 Ferrari. As a result the paintwork remains in pristine condition, free from stone chips or signs of wear.
All factory accessories are present, including all books / manuals / the original car cover / wind deflector / trickle charger and both keys with the key card.
The Ferrari California debuted at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, reviving the legendary California nameplate from Ferrari’s 1950s and 1960s grand tourers. It was the first Ferrari to feature a front-mounted V8 and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Despite being positioned as an entry-level Ferrari, its design developed by Pininfarina under the guidance of Ken Okuyama, incorporated cutting-edge innovations that made it a standout model.
