The 296 GTB was presented as the successor to the legendary Dino, and it is certainly a brilliant piece of technical development! A warning shot across the bow of McLaren. It proves that downsizing engine displacement doesn't have to mean a drop in performance. It’s also proof that Ferrari has fully mastered hybrid technology and electricity. And, in our opinion, the most important thing: the best supercar in this price range today!
The 296 GTB accelerates from 0 to 200 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, which is nearly two seconds faster than the Turbo S. Moreover, the 296 GTB sounds incredibly sharp and magical (no need for an aftermarket exhaust!) and delivers power as if there were no turbo or electric motor involved. Impressive!
