Info:
Damaged vehicles are any vehicles with unrepaired significant damage, e.g. due to a road traffic accident, fire damage, hail damage, water damage, engine damage or damage to the gearbox. This does not include: 1.) normal wear and tear; 2.) minor damage; 3.) a vehicle which has previously had an accident but has since been repaired. Also, a vehicle is only deemed to be accident-free if it has never suffered any significant damage in an accident. This means anything more serious than minor damage (e.g. scratched paintwork). Even if the damage has been properly repaired, the vehicle is no longer accident-free. Finally, 'Roadworthy' means that the vehicle is technically capable of being driven (no engine damage or the like). This does not refer to aspects of traffic safety or other suitability of the vehicle.

Daytona Automobil presents the 1973 Volkswagen 1303 LS Cabriolet, an exceptionally well-preserved example with just 58,100 km.
This unique 1303 LS Cabriolet is painted in Marathon Blue Metallic, featuring a black convertible top and a dark blue interior, all in outstanding original condition. In its original condition, specification and unrestored, it is maybe one of the best-kept examples worldwide. The car retains its original convertible top/roof lining, and mostly original paint. Even the spare keys are present. With no welding and three careful owners since new it stands as a remarkable time capsule.
Delivered new in Sweden, the car comes equipped with a Eberspächer cabin heater, sadly non-functioning, but is otherwise in perfect working order. It has always been on the road and never been stored away, and the overall care is evident. The most recent owner is a respected collector known for his meticulous care and attention to detail. The car is fitted with three-point seat belts in the front and is accompanied by extensive documentation, making it a true collector's item.
The Cabriolet model began its journey in 1948 when Wilhelm Karmann converted a VW Beetle into a convertible, which led to the Karmann name becoming synonymous with these open-top Beetles. Production ran from 1949 to 1980, with a total of 331,847 units built. Powered by a 1.6-liter boxer-four engine producing approximately 50 hp, this car is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, offering a nostalgic and authentic driving experience.
