Info:
Damaged vehicles are any vehicles with unrepaired significant damage, e.g. due to a road traffic accident, fire damage, hail damage, water damage, engine damage or damage to the gearbox. This does not include: 1.) normal wear and tear; 2.) minor damage; 3.) a vehicle which has previously had an accident but has since been repaired. Also, a vehicle is only deemed to be accident-free if it has never suffered any significant damage in an accident. This means anything more serious than minor damage (e.g. scratched paintwork). Even if the damage has been properly repaired, the vehicle is no longer accident-free. Finally, 'Roadworthy' means that the vehicle is technically capable of being driven (no engine damage or the like). This does not refer to aspects of traffic safety or other suitability of the vehicle.

Voertuigbeschrijving
A vehicle can appeal in many different ways, quality but something that is perhaps more important than anything else is the design. The first feelings you get when you first lay eyes on an object can be more important than any other. This was something Mercedes knew well when, in the early 60s, Paul Bracq was brought in to design the car that would fill the shoes of the legendary W121 SL series.
Paul designed this hugely beautiful roadster, a car that feels more like a work of art than an actual car. Today, the car is widely known as one of the most beautiful vehicles ever made with simple shapes, clear features from previous models and classic proportions. The car was sold over the years with three different engine options, with this example being the top model, the 280 SL. But the car is probably better known for its nickname, a name it got as a result of the slightly concave roofline. The Pagoda.
The example we have in front of us is, as previously mentioned, a 280 wearing an elegant blue-green suit, which here meets silver rims and a black roof. Bumpers, grill and a number of other details in the exterior are in a high-gloss polished finish. The inside offers a timeless color palette with a brown leather upholstery that is contrasted by chrome details and complemented by parts in wood. The dashboard lets the exterior color shine through and in front of you is a thin, beautiful steering wheel. The dashboard also houses conveniences such as a Becker Mexico radio and an analog clock and just below also an AC system. The luggage compartment houses the spare wheel but also a tailored bag set of three bags that is made in the same palette as the interior.
To say that this is a car that must be experienced may sound like a cliché, but here it is a fact. This Pagoda is unprecedented even in the world market and gives the impression of being a new car. Completely restored down to every screw, something that is of course extremely well documented. Of course, the car also comes with the hardtop that gave the car its nickname.
