The 190SL was introduced alongside its more celebrated sister model the 300 SL at the New York Auto Show in February 1954. While the 300 SL was a raw sports car, developed from the racing cars of the early fifties, the 190 SL built on a shortened chassis from the 180 family car. Mercedes-Benz targeted aimed at customers who wanted a snugger and more reliable sports car, more suitable for long journeys than what the British and Italian competitors could offer. Although they could point to better performance. In doing so, the 190 SL established the direction that the successors in the SL class have continued. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is usually seen as the 300SL's little brother. Absolutely one of the finest in Sweden, unbelievably stylish colour combination.
