Delivered new on 2 February 1973 in New York, this Lamborghini Jarama stands out today on account of its low mileage as well as its great condition. In 2020 the well known Lamborghini expert Iain Tyrrell’s workshop featured the car on his popular Youtube channel and assessed the indicated milage of just 9026 miles (14525 km) as seemingly original. For most of its life the Jarama stayed in the United States where invoices testify its latest service work . In 2013 the car went to Europe where the new owner in effect ended up restoring the car. At some point in the United States the car had been painted orange but back in Europa its paintwork was redone in a grey metallic corresponding to its original finish by Carrozzeria Guerra, Lugo. The headlamps and lights have been replaced to conform to European legislation. The exhaust has been refurbished, along with the braking system and air conditioning compressor. The Jarama underwent a further full service in 2017, again in 2020 with Iain Tyrrell and latest in August 2023 in Denmark. Iain Tyrrell also upgraded the interior returning carpets and headlining to original colours and ignition and cooling system was upgraded in 2023 and the car therefore ready for a new owner. This GTS model is of interest as it is rare, with just 152 cars built, and features a number of improvements to its appearance compared with the earlier versions: a new look to the interior, improved air conditioning and a new version of the quad-cam 4-litre V12, producing 365 bhp at 7500 rpm. It is a perfect four-seat grand tourer, less radical than the Miura and easier to use than the Espada. This car comes with a documented service history, its original jack and toolkit, an owner's manual, two sets of keys and a CD showing photos of its restoration. Thanks to its faultless condition, this Jarama does justice to a model which deserves to be better known.2023 Service and ignition system refurbished and upgraded with new cables, coils, plugs, distributor cap as well as two new high output fans 2020 Service and interior upgrade by Iain Tyyrrell Full bare metal repaint in (Orange)Arancio Paint 19,398 USD Steve Morovic, Arizona, August 2007 5860 miles showing 2016 Service invoice for fixing the AC Top Motors Italy May 2016 2013 In Germany by 2013 according to German Valuation German Valuation report shows 9026 miles valued at 250,000 euros Service Invoice $186 GT Motorsports Pewaukee September 2012 8307 Miles Service Invoice $1592 GT Motorsports Pewaukee August 2012 7672 Miles Major engine service $4851 GT Motorsports Pewaukee July 2012 6938 Miles Service Invoice $2186 Evans Automotive Columbus Ohio, July 2012 6630 Miles Service Parts for AC from GT Cars Arizona April 2011Technical data: V12 4.0 with six weber carburettors 40 DCOE creating 365 hp (redline 7900 rpm) Top speed 152 MPH 1970 production began, first shown at the Geneva Motor Show 1972 GTS model launched 365 BHP top speed 161 MPH GTS differences: Wider air intake across the bonnet, air scoops behind the rear wheels, turn signals moved to bumper, aluminium facia replaced wood, switch gear repositioned Designed by Bertone, body built by Carrozzeria Marazzi based on an Espada chassis shortened by 11 ins Front and rear discs 11 inches, brakes by Girling 15” Campagnola Magnesium Alloy Wheels Weight 3600 lbs 53/47 weight distribution Total of 150 Jarama GTS were built
