As of 22.11.2024 the car has been registered fully in Bulgaria, and can be driven anywhere at any time! Viewing is welcome.
The car is a factory E-ECR33 chassis, 1996 January build date, no ABS. I got it in late 2021 from The Netherlands and have been restoring and modifying it to OEM+ condition since then. Tons of work went into this car, but it paid off and puts a smile of my face every time I drive it. There are many things I want to say about it, but I will keep it short. For any further info or proof/pictures of the work done, feel free to message me and I will provide!
Spec list:
ECR33 25GTST body
Fully molded rear GTR overfenders (not a single rivet was used, bonded entirely with automotive grade materials and fillers. Underneath the panels, the original metal fenders were cleaned, sealed and painted in QM1 color with antichip coating as well for extra protection. The arches were also done proper inside and out.
The front fenders are factory GTST fenders with added metal arches and molded to complete the look with the Greddy S-Roc front bumper. The side skirts and rear spats are part of the Top Secret kit (to which I have the front bumper also in perfect condition and will give with the car!). Extra care was taken as to not introduce any new holes in the chassis to prevent rust.
The gearbox is from an R34 GTT aka 5 speed big box with an uprated XTD clutch kit (6 puck) and a lightweight flywheel, converted from pull to push type with all new parts, works flawless. Motul 75w-90 weight oil in the transmission and diff (stock GTST 4.11 diff).
The car is running a standalone ECU, AEM Series 2 (30-6620), holds perfect idle, great cold and hot starts, extremely smooth engine from the get-go.
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
R35 GTR 570cc injectors
Holset HX35 10cm hot side with a custom twin scroll flange and divided outlet directly to the 45mm wastegate. Works perfect and holds target boost (currently set and mapped to 14.7 psi/1bar)
3" Vband downpipe leading up to a Kakimoto Racing R 3" exhaust, JASMA branded.
The engine is an RB20DE Neo from an R34. It comes with solid lifters, the smallest oil restrictors in the block, custom rear head breather port leading to the oil pan. Working VCT, as well as custom set parameters for opening and closing of the 6 swirl flaps as well as the main upper flap which produces the effect of short / long runner lengths. I find those systems work very well and can be even further optimized for fuel efficient, off/on boost response. Also it looks pretty!
265/35/18 tires in the rear, 245/40/18 in the front. Some spacers were required to get proper fitment, as the current wheels are BK Racing 993 18x9.5" (+38) rear and 18x8 (+30) front. The HICAS system works amazingly well for my liking hence why it is still on the car. It's a joy to push a bit harder while cornering or switching lanes quickly. The grip is definitely there.
Lights work, mirrors fold and adjust, windows roll down, wipers work on each setting, washer jets squirt as they should. Have added uprated power cables to the fuse box as well as fresh ground wires everywhere. Rebuilt alternator, holds ~14.2 volts at all times and during high engine loads. Has premium factory fitted option of Kenwood N'Fit speakers in the back and front, with a more modern Kenwood single DIN head unit with USB and Bluetooth functionality.
BAD BITS: Front shocks are leaking and not as stiff as when new. There are brand new TEIN 3cm lowering springs on all 4 corners so ride height for now is fairly adequate but the front bumper overhang is massive so more care is needed with bumps.
AC does not work because I only have the compressor and internal module (in-cab) for the system. I did not manage to find the AC pipes and condenser/fan.
The car is located in Bulgaria (European Union) and the last valid registration was in the Netherlands, so it is much easier and hassle free to re-register in any other EU nation. It currently has temporary 1 month road plates so I could drive it and make sure it's in perfect condition. I would be willing to deliver it myself to any place in Europe if there is serious interest and some form of upfront payment is arranged (to cover the fuel at least).
