Thankfully, the bumper horns, side markers, and headlights have been replaced, giving it the full Euro-spec appearance.

The Pagoda also offers excellent seating, even for slightly taller drivers, unlike British roadsters from the same era. The leather in the car has just the right amount of wear and looks excellent. The seats are in great shape, and the car has dark blue carpeting to match. The rest of the interior is also in good condition and working order.

The engine has a satisfying exhaust note and strong acceleration. Driving a Mercedes Pagoda feels like it is ahead of its time; the car feels solid, reliable, and is easy to drive with power-assisted steering. The four-speed gearbox is also smooth, with distinctive shifts. Mechanically, the car is in good order, with a large service having been carried out in the summer of 2024. During this service, the car was thoroughly inspected, and any minor issues were addressed.
History and Documentation: This Mercedes 280SL W113 Pagoda was originally sold new in America. In 1993, the car was brought to Germany, where it underwent a restoration. In 2021, the car was exported to Sweden, where it has remained with its current owner. The current owner has maintained the car and ensured all necessary servicing has been performed.
