This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100) in SWB saloon iteration is a completely restored example of the famous limousine. It has spent the last 34 years in Sweden and has covered 105,000 kilometres since new.
This 600 was sold new in the United States. It was brought into Sweden on January 17th, 1989; between October 27th, 1995, and September 28th, 2019, it was under single ownership. Invoices from its entire restoration process are available. It has recently been through a complete overhaul, with no expenses spared. The dark red paint job with body-coloured wheels are courtesy of a relatively recent paint job, where the same hue as the original paint was used.
The black leather in the interior is in flawless condition and has been meticulously reupholstered. This W100, VIN 10001212001486, is the 1486th built and is an excellent example of one of Mercedes’ most iconic models. The 600 offers state-of-the-art engineering in each and every regard, something this specimen perfectly illustrates.
