Exterior: The Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe we have for sale is from 1967 and has just come out of a professional restoration. It looks stunning in Opalescent Blue with a brick-red leather interior. This is a high-quality restoration, and the car has impeccable paintwork, completely free from scratches and stone chips. The panel gaps are perfect all around the car. The chrome details are excellent, with some original, unrestored parts still in very good condition. As you can see in the images, the car sits at the perfect ride height, and the chrome spoke wheels shine like new. It’s fitted with a new set of Dunlop Sport tires -- my preferred choice for a Jaguar E-Type. The underside of the car matches the quality of the exterior. Every detail has been perfected, and it’s so clean you could leave your sandwich anywhere.
Interior: The interior of this Jaguar E-Type is simply beautiful. A full carpet and leather kit was supplied by Lakewell in Belgium. The stunning dashboard is filled with Smiths instruments. The same leather was used in the luggage space to give the interior a more luxurious feel.
Engine: The 4.2L Jaguar E-Type engine was disassembled in 2019 during the car's restoration and then rebuilt with new parts. The same applies to all surrounding components, including the starter, alternator, ignition system, and carburetors. The E-Type fires up immediately with the push of a button, and its exhaust note is sure to capture any petrol head’s attention. The nice thing about restoring classic Jaguars is that everything is available. As you can see in the pictures, every moving part in the front and rear end has been replaced, including new shocks and a stainless-steel exhaust from Bell. A completely new wiring loom was installed to ensure all electrical equipment will function as it should for many years to come.
History: This Series 1 E-Type was sold new in April 1967. It was delivered with a U.K. plate number as a left-hand drive car. Most likely, the first owner drove the car in the U.K. before shipping it back to California. In 2020, it returned to the Netherlands and underwent a full restoration with Bark Classic Cars. The car was then sold to Sweden in 2024. It has now completed its break-in period and is ready for a new home, set for more classic car adventures. With the car, we have a Jaguar Heritage certificate for this matching-numbers vehicle, along with ownership documentation going back to the U.S. and photographic documentation of the restoration.
