The Ferrari Purosangue is a new 4.97 meters long, four-seater model. It will be the first SUV (or something like that) of the brand, in addition to being the first production Ferrari with four side doors and the tallest.The body is made of steel, aluminum and carbon fiber. Aluminum is also used in the lower part of the chassis, while carbon fiber has also been used in the roof (to reduce weight – 20% compared to an aluminum one – and the center of gravity). The dry weight of the Purosangue (without liquids or the standard 75 kilograms) is 2033 kg.The suspension is active type. It consists of shock absorbers (from the American manufacturer Multimatic) with spool valves instead of flexible shims, but each one also has a 48 V electric motor that modifies the force on the shock absorber (and the wheel) and that Together they achieve better control of roll, pitch and filtering.

Va a ser el primer SUV (o algo así) de la marca, además de ser el primer Ferrari de producción con cuatro puertas laterales y el más alto.La carrocería está hecha de acero, aluminio y fibra de carbono. El aluminio también se emplea en la parte inferior del chasis, mientras que la fibra de carbono también se ha utilizado en el techo (para reducir el peso —un 20% respecto a uno de aluminio— y el centro de gravedad). El peso del Purosangue en seco (sin líquidos ni los 75 kilogramos de la norma) es de 2033 kg.La suspensión es de tipo activo. Consta de unos amortiguadores (del fabricante americano Multimatic) con válvulas de carrete en vez de calzas flexibles, pero que además cuentan cada uno con un motor eléctrico de 48 V que modifica la fuerza sobre el amortiguador (y la rueda) y que en conjunto consiguen un mejor control del balanceo, cabeceo y filtrado.
