Ferrari F430 Challenge ~Ferrari Munsterhuis~

We are selling this Ferrari F430 Challenge for our customer. This car was used since 2007 for trackdays.

The F430 Challenge car is a modified version of the Ferrari F430. They share the same 4.3 Litre V8 engine except for a few enhancements to the intake and exhaust components and similar transmission. Only the highest gears of the six-speed, paddle operated sequential manual transmission have been modified in the Challenge to improve its circuit performance. The Ferrari F430 Challenge can go from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds and reach top speeds of over 217 mph. Thanks to all of this speed and power, the F430 Challenge is not street-legal; it is a track-only vehicle.

Inside, the Ferrari F430 Challenge has a spartan, utilitarian interior. In an effort to reduce the overall weight of the car, there is no carpet, soundproofing or stereo, the chassis is aluminum, and the doors are made from carbon fiber panels. The seats are minimalist, ultra-light carbon racing seats. Safety features include lighter weight Lexan windows, six-point racing harnesses, and a full roll cage. There are no airbags in the racing wheel, and it can be quickly removed for easy entry and exit.

Race-ready features include integrated pit radio buttons in the steering wheel and digital instrument display interfacing. Traction control and the stability system are permanently disengaged and the “race” settings have been permanently selected for the gearbox and engine management systems. The Ferrari F430 Challenge suspension was modified with double wishbones, coil springs over dampers, and anti-roll bars for better handling on the track.
